The Dow open at 7555 and close at 7465 –89.68 (-1.19%), the lowest one is 7448 at 03:42 am

Sector performance (% change on day): Financials (-5.20%), Tech (-3.29%), Health Care (-0.20%), Consumer Staples (+1.04%), Consumer Discretionary (-0.67%), Industrials (-2.35%), Energy (+0.19%), Telecom (+1.01%), Materials (-0.86%), Utilities (+0.64%).

The EUR climbed from 1.25904 to yesterday high 1.2757 and then moving low to 1.2570 and at 5:54 pm is 1.26133

The GBP do not have support from after reaching 1.44415 and moving down to 1.4150 at 4:00pm this afternoon and now is 1.42733 at 5:55 pm
The CAD touching low to 1.2470 and then climb back to 1.2620 and at 5:56pm the rate is 1.2592

The JPY reach 94.39 and move back to 93.86 at 5:57pm

The Crude Oil March is 38.61 at 5:57pm

Another Opportunity to witness the interest rate effect

16 -17 Dec 2008 I really glad that I am able to witness the historic rate cut decision in this century. Having an almost zero interest rate in USD. It's the last bullet in interest rate. On 16, I had already believe the traders will push up the DOW but don't know the effect is so significant +359.61 close at 8924.14 Regarding the Oil, once confirmation the Oil will cut 2M barrel, the oil gradually drop to 44 / barrel and the oil security also don't have disappointed result even the DOW climb so high, the Banking sector is the winner. On the same time, USD immediately dropped after the announcement and the EUR & JPY 1.41xx and at 5:59pm is 1.4093 &89.12 How long this rally can last? Let's wait and see. In the morning, I am still thinking how will be the +395 affect Asia Market, However, all asia markets are open high and close little bit low.
